System integrator of security technology Automatic Signal and artwork protection specialist Fortecho Solutions are entering into a partnership. Both companies have more than earned their spurs in the security of museums and art objects. To be able to serve museum customers even better, a collaboration was obvious.
Automatic Signal is known and excels in the Dutch museum world for both building and access security. Fortecho Solutions offers options for both security and management of an art collection, with sensors that can record temperature, light and humidity in addition to motion detection.
Commercial director of Fortecho Solutions Bart Miller: “Partnering with Automatic Signal further strengthens Fortecho’s presence in Europe and will add significant value to all existing and new clients across the Netherlands. Automatic Signal’s name has been associated with expert delivery of security systems for many years and, combining with our own 25 years of museum experience, we are perfectly poised to serve the Netherlands’ cultural institutions together. ”
Managing director of Automatic Signal, Paul de Hont: “With the additional sensor technologies from Fortecho, we offer our customers added value. Now we can not only protect works of art against theft, but also against, for example, an unintentional rise in humidity. If it exceeds a certain threshold value, a signal is passed on to the security management system and immediate action can be taken. In addition, Fortecho has field components that can be placed invisibly in drawers that contain, for example, light-sensitive objects.”
